The construction industry has played a key role in shaping Hong Kong as one of the world’s most dynamic and modern cities.
It has also contributed significantly to economic growth and social development for many generations.
To meet the growing demand for housing, land, healthcare services and community infrastructure, the Government has implemented “Construction 2.0”, which advocates “innovation”, “professionalisation” and “revitalisation”. Through these three pillars, we are leading the industry to enhance its capacity and sustainability, increase productivity, promote regulation and quality assurance, improve site safety and reduce environmental impact. We also encourage innovation and strive to nurture the younger generation by providing more opportunities to develop their strengths.
