Projects Leaders Summit
International Infrastructure and Projects Leaders Summit (IIPLS) is one of the key policy measures in our Chief Executive’s 2023 Policy Address and a landmark international event, bringing together esteemed infrastructure and major projects leaders and visionary experts in infrastructure from around the globe to exchange insights and best practices in project delivery and governance.
The Development Bureau hosted the first IIPLS on 15 November 2024, bringing together more than 500 major infrastructure project leaders and experts from over 25 countries and economies, including senior government officials from the Mainland and overseas, and representatives of renowned international organisations such as the World Economic Forum and International Institute for Management Development, to delve into the strategies and policies for infrastructure delivery and address the challenges and opportunities in implementing mega infrastructure projects under the theme of “Strategic Leadership in Managing Complexity and Uncertainty in Infrastructure Delivery”.
Following the success of the inaugural IIPLS, the second IIPLS will be held on 20 November 2026.
Mr Paul Chan, Financial Secretary, Ms Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development, and Mr Ricky LAU, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) attended the Grand Opening Ceremony and Welcome Dinner of the 2024 Summit.
