The tender price index provides an indication of the price level of tender prices and is used as an aid to adjust the cost data for estimating purpose. Currently, there are 4 government construction works tender price indices compiled by Architectural Services Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department and Hong Kong Housing Authority.
